The much awaited #TomsforTarget holiday collection is here – if like me you’re a collab addict, you must be curious to know if the collection is worth checking out?
Firstly, the TOMS collection of footwear is priced $10 lower at $48 than the average pair of TOMS you would get elsewhere. Secondly the collection of scarves and accessories priced between $30-$20 is really chic and if you love clean lines and sustainability, this should be on your gotta love must have list.
My store did not carry the ponchos, but most other stores still have them. I admit I wasn’t blown away by this line, but there were some pieces like the scarves and journals which are really high quality.
It’s officially almost cold now. Temperatures are falling and the urge to hit the mall on cold evenings is back with a vengeance. See what I found in Target and JCPenney on my weekend visit — some great layering pieces, cute animal motifs and even a camo dress!
My personal favorites? The Owl sweater from JCP, it’s a cashmere blend and so soft, very versatile too. I also love the red printed pants and the striped dress from Target, both have a really great fit. Affordable fashion pieces, that don’t break your budget and keep you on the forefront of the fashion trenches, that’s my mantra!
Set your alarms! Mark your calendars fashion mavens! Because the wait is over for Target’s much awaited Phillip Lim collaboration! Lim’s much coveted handbag collection is making a debut at Target on September 15, along with his fabulous clothes and this is one piece of arm candy you will definitely want to tote! We’ve got every single handbag for you to assess and decide which one is going on your gotta love, must have list!
Joe Fresh is fast becoming my favorite brand at J. C. Penney. Everything the brand makes is affordable, versatile and looks fresh and young. True to spirit, their new collection of separates is a mix of neutral colors, darker pastels and even tones. Take a look and tell me, did anything just go on your gotta love, must have list?
When it comes to shopping for latest trends at affordable prices, fashionistas mostly turn to staples like Target, Old Navy, Gap and JCPenney for great deals. Uniqlo, the Japanese everyday wear brand often tends to go unnoticed. When I walked into Uniqlo’s 34th Street store in NYC last week, I found summer goodies piled high at prices that made me beam!
With June promotions on in full swing and most retailers busy gearing up for the 4th of July weekend, there were many in store specials on their cotton chinos, printed maxis and other loungewear.
