I’m in love with this metallic foil T-shirt dress. It’s simple, elegant, trendy and absolutely uh-mazing.
And it’s a part of Kate Bosworth’s capsule collection for Topshop. Last week at LuckyFABB, in a conversation with the magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Eva Chen, Kate said, “I like to keep things simple and am too fond of anything gimmicky“. Keeping this inherent mantra in mind, her collection has dollops of glamour without any in-your-face brazen, over-the-top gimmicks.
Tailored, classic investment pieces such as this dress and other ones in the same family like the metallic foil wrap skirt and A-line winter white coats with splashes of red and black dominate her palette.
While I do love some of the key statement pieces in this line, I’m on the fence about the price point. The metallic pieces are from $150 and above and some of the lux coats retail between $790 and $999. This is in keeping with Topshop’s boutique line, which is priced much higher than it’s high street everyday wear.
What do you think? Are you biting just yet or holding out to see if it hits clearance like Phillip Lim for Target already has?
