When it comes to shopping for latest trends at affordable prices, fashionistas mostly turn to staples like Target, Old Navy, Gap and JCPenney for great deals. Uniqlo, the Japanese everyday wear brand often tends to go unnoticed. When I walked into Uniqlo’s 34th Street store in NYC last week, I found summer goodies piled high at prices that made me beam!
With June promotions on in full swing and most retailers busy gearing up for the 4th of July weekend, there were many in store specials on their cotton chinos, printed maxis and other loungewear.

Recently, Uniqlo also did a tie-up with renowned British designer Celia Birtwell who is famous for her hand drawn prints. The Uniqlo x Celia Birtwell collection is also in stores and from what I saw, was selling out like hot cakes.
I loved these printed pants in a really vibrant print, made from a really soft cotton and easy to lounge in:
